Artist’s Statement
Exploring a mythology of colour, Keiran's works present vibrant sculptural abstracts influenced by the constant sensory bombardment of modern life. Keiran's practice observes a relationship between intense uncontainable feelings and nothingness, culminating in fleeting and beautiful connections between physical and unconscious worlds.
Biography
Keiran received his BFA from National Art School, majoring in sculpture. Experimenting primarily in painting and mixed media, Keiran has been exhibiting his work in solo and group shows since 2014. Keiran was a finalist in the National Emerging Art Prize 2021 and the 67th Blake Prize and exhibited in the the Affordable Art Fair Sydney and Melbourne 2022 and 2023.
