Sian Faber
Artist’s Statement
In her painting practice Sian likes to work fast, painting fluid movement in all forms. In her Oceanscapes she particularly enjoys using water to paint water. Delighting in watercolour’s controlled chaos, she uses a monochromatic pallet & graphite pigments on 640gsm smooth paper.
Biography
Graduating from Elam Fine Art school and emigrating to Sydney, Sian ran her Remedial Massage & Pilates business for 30 years. Sian now practises art full time between her Spanish Art studio in Andalusia, and Sydney, and a vintage motorhome in NZ. Sian has been in many solo & group exhibitions in New Zealand, Sydney & Spain - 2 due in June 2023 - and her artwork is held in private collections all over the world.
